What a great website. My dad Jimmy Buchan from Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland sailed with the Harrison Line between 1945 and August 1947 as a steward. His last ship was the SS Prospector. He sadly died in 1993 and I do miss the stories he told about his trips between Liverpool and South Africa.
