Trip 2 M.V. Trader

I had 3 weeks leave from my first trip returning to Liverpool to join the Trader for my 2nd trip back to  the Caribbean all be it a different part.

We sailed from Liverpool on March 22nd towards Kingston Jamaica. I was the Junior Cadet again. I can't recall anything out of the ordinary happening during the trip except that the 3rd Engineer Eddy Parry was a Status Quo nut and he always had them playing at full volume in the bar! We decided to give him a set of headphones to help us think and when we asked him a question, usually by sign language he answered at full volume! He never belived us when we told him that he yelled his answers to us!!!

I have to put the records straight about nothing much happening on this trip. After attending the well turned out reunion dinner on 29/11/13 (Always last Friday of November at The Adelphie in Liverpool) I was reprimanded by Ginger Moore about the fact that he was paid off in Jamaica when he had to be taken ashore with Appendicitis. My appologies Ginger, it was nearly 40 years ago!!
